6 Mistakes entrepreneurs are making when it comes to their business & brand:

1. We don’t do a self assessment often enough.

It’s so important to check in with yourself where you currently are and where you want to go so that you can be aware of what thoughts and habits you need to change in order to get where you want to go. Ask yourself these questions:

Where am I right now? (Business, money, relationships, life, etc.)

Where do I want to be? (What are my goals and dreams for my business, money, relationships, and what life do I want to be living?)

The most common things holding us back:

1. Our own resistance to seeing ourselves and tapping into our own uniqueness.
2. We think it’s all been done before.

The truth:

1. Wounded people wound others, and healed people heal others.
2. No one has done it like YOU.

2. We brand with our heads instead of our hearts.

A lot of people come at branding and business with their heads instead of their hearts. We look at our competition and try to mirror what they’re doing. Every great brand starts with the heart of what you’re offering and why you’re offering it. People want to go to a logo so quickly because it feels easy and tangible, but the logo is never going to mean anything if you aren’t clear on the VALUES behind that brand.

3. We get stuck in analysis paralysis.

We don’t tap into our Devine feminine flow and instead we get stuck overanalyzing everything. We know when we’re in flow when opportunities keep popping up, ideas and money come easily and effortlessly to us, etc. We know when we’re STUCK or not in flow when we keep getting “no’s”, our ads aren’t converting, we feel like we’re constantly hitting a wall, etc.

4. We don’t release control.

We put a lot of value on certain outcomes that we want instead of releasing our control. If we want a specific launch to go a certain way and we put too much pressure on that, then it won’t happen. Instead when you’re open to the other possible outcomes, sometimes something better than we expected can happen.

5. We attach our own value to what we’re not accomplishing.

We latch onto a specific dream of 6-figures or 7-figures and then we attach our own value to that. Your self worth is not about your money in your bank account. When you become unattached to that, and focus more on the beautiful life that you’re living, you’ll get where you want to go.

6. We have an unhealthy relationship with money.

Maybe you have a lot of debt and you feel guilt about that, or you spend money recklessly and you’re ashamed of that habit. Whatever it is, this is a belief that has been instilled in you over the years, and it’s time to take those thoughts and reframe them. Instead of debt, think of it as investments in yourself. Forgive yourself for the reckless spending and believe that you have the ability to be responsible with your money, make money easily, and invest wisely.
