Not experiencing the success you crave? We all have our blindspots, and in this episode I’m sharing the 11 most common blocks to success that my clients and students often face. Maybe this episode will give you the awareness and awakening you need to step into your power and reach your goals!

When I coach–there are amazing results. If someone has shown up and worked through their wounding and blocks and negative thought patterns they have ALWAYS ALWAYS made their investment back and 99% of the time much more. 

Because what I teach works. 

And will continue to work. 

So when I go through launches, I get a lot of DMs-some from people who find the success contagious, and some from people who do not think they will ever have success on the level that they want. Some of these people are my current or past coaching clients–they think it’s working for everyone BUT them. 

Today, I’m getting super honest about why you may have not experienced the success you’re craving…yet. 

My hope for you is that this episode will cause an awakening and an awareness on a level different from what you currently have. But be prepared–you’re going to have to take a very hard look at yourself. 

The Most Common Blocks To Success:

1. You’re in the seed-planting stage, but you’re rooting impatience.

You have to give things time to work. I often go back to people I coached two years ago and get UPDATED testimonials because they have continued to plant and harvest seeds. Things take time. Skillsets take time. Becoming a master and an expert takes time and dedication. This world we live in cultivates an expectation of instant gratification and this has done us a disservice to crafting exquisite businesses. Looking at you Amazon, Tinder, and Netflix… 

2. Comparison

Are you comparing yourself to people who have different positions in the market than you do? People who have been at it longer than you have? Who may be selling something different? Who know themselves better? Sometimes it’s a strategy you need, sometimes it’s an entire thought makeover.

3. Your offers aren’t aligned with your goals

If you want a $15,000 month, but your offers are in the lower price range, it’s time to rework your offers. If you have an offer that’s $5k, then all you need to do is book three of those and you’ve met your goal.

4. Consistency

What behaviors and mindsets need to change so that you can show up for your business consistently? Are you spending a lot of time scrolling Instagram? Bing-watching Netflix? In a toxic relationship? If your personal life isn’t in the right place, then you can’t show up as your highest self in your business.

5. You’re not willing to fail

If you’re not willing to take risks and play it brave, then you’re never going to reach the heights of success you desire. It takes courage to be successful. Try that new offer you’ve been thinking of, invest in your education even if you feel like it’s too expensive, bet on yourself…

6. Idolization Over Self-Led Empowerment

If you are idolizing someone, you’re not in your power. I meet famous people all the time and rarely get starstruck. I even held my own that time I hugged Jason Mamoa. If you put someone on a pedestal they will fall. If you think your coach needs to direct every part of your journey, you will hate me. If you aren’t self-led and aware of how stories show up for you, you will not grow.

7. Copying Over Creation

Justifying that since you paid them money you have some kind of right to their creative ideas. You should be crediting and supporting those who you learn from. This builds community! The more you copy others, the more you cut yourself off from community. You have to be YOU in order to be successful.

8. You’re Pushing The Boundaries

When your coach or mentor (or anyone else) sets clear boundaries, it’s important to respect those boundaries. If you feel like you have the right to break boundaries just because you paid someone a sum of money, then you’re in a place of entitlement and success does not come with entitlement (different than worthiness and empowerment).

9. You’re Resisting What Is

Not practicing gratitude for what you have. Being angry and not recognizing that anger–many of us don’t want to admit when resentment and anger arise. The art of surrendering to where things are in this moment is important.

10. Not Doing The Inner Work

If you don’t do the work to step into your personal power, you stay in a place of victimhood, you don’t work through blocks and find clarity, then you won’t find success.

11. Your Addictions are getting in the way

Whether you’re addicted to your phone, perfectionism, overworking, martyrdom, smoking, drinking, gambling, social media… these things lead us to a numb space. When we’re numbed by these addictions you’re not in a space of awareness and you can’t have success.
