She has been working with people in expanded states of consciousness for many years, as well as with couples and women from all over the world.
Holotropic and Tantric breathwork are two different practices with similar goals. Holotropic breathwork, developed by Stanislav and Christina Grof, focuses on using deep, rhythmic breathing to access altered states of consciousness for personal growth and healing. Tantric breathwork, is rooted in the ancient practice of Tantra and aims to harness sexual energy for spiritual and personal growth. Both practices use breath as a tool to access altered states of consciousness and can be intense experiences that require guidance and preparation.
1. The purpose of breathwork is to raise your consciousness and help you heal. Healing can come in the form of pain relief, releasing past trauma, somatic healing, and many other ways.
2. Breathwork helps your body naturally release DMT, which changes your body chemistry and allows you to raise your consciousness without ingesting medicine.
3. Tantra is used to help individuals connect their sexuality with spirituality. It is a practice of embodiment and does not have to be related to sexual acts, but can be helpful for anyone that desires a deeper connection with their own self or their intimate partners.
4. There are 4 phases to tantric healing, (1) procreation, (2) entertainment, (3) healing, (4) transformation. Most people live in phases 1 and 2, but anyone can explore the healing powers of tantra to reach higher levels of enlightenment.
