How To Create More Time in Your Day:

• Take the apps off your phone
• Prioritize the top 3 tasks for that day
• Rollover tasks you don’t get done that day to the next day
• Get an alarm clock, watch, paper calendar, etc. to cut down on the amount of times you look at your phone.
• If you stop responding on the weekends, people will become trained not to reach out on weekends.

Have these things before hiring:

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Library of Training videos of you doing tasks with specifics so they can get into your thinking process.
• Do a trial project that will take them about 10 hours (paid) to make sure it’s a great fit, see their communication style, etc.
• Write down a good, better, best result for your new team member so they have something to work towards and measurable expectations.
• Have all team members take the Clifton Strengthfinders test to ensure their personality type is a good fit for the team and position.

Healthy Social Media Strategies:

• Show people who you are with behind the scenes and tidbits of your personal life.
• Share what you stand for, your story, and unique perspective is key.
• Don’t get caught up in the accolades (likes, comments, etc.)
• Don’t follow your competitors or you could get caught up in the comparison trap.

Sales Call Strategies:

• Set expectations – “this will only be 15 minutes”
• Answer their questions before they ask them
• Custom Packages so it feels more tailored to them – (get The Art of the Client Proposal for more strategies on creating custom proposals)
• Send everything quickly after the call so it’s fresh in mind.
• Ask – “is this what you’re looking for?” So they are encouraged to respond to the proposal.
