One thing that 2020 has taught us is when big things are thrown at us, it’s important to keep pivoting, creating, and finding solutions that not only solve people’s problems, but allow your business to thrive. Fallon Carter is what I like to call a solution Ninja, and on this episode she’s sharing all the ways she is serving and solving problems in these unprecedented times while her business continues to grow and thrive. Hit play to get in on this problem-solving action!

About Fallon Carter:

Fallon Carter is the Owner and Principal Planner at Fallon Carter Events. After helping a friend plan her Paris wedding and falling in love with the organization and logistics of the process, Fallon went from Law school to LOVE and launched Fallon Carter Events in New York City. Her work has since been featured in several publications, including: Vogue, Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides Magazine, and more. Specializing in destination events that are classic with a contemporary twist, Fallon and her team turn ideas into uniquely designed occasions that deliver a revered guest experience anywhere from Brooklyn to Bangkok.

How to Be the Solution:

  • 2020 has presented a lot of problems to a lot of people. This year is teaching us how to pivot and create solutions to new problems while figuring out how to make an income.
  • Covid-19 has forced couples and vendors to think about the essentials not only in daily life, but in weddings, and business practices as well.
  • By simplifying events and your businesses you’re able to be more efficient and serve your clients in a more effective way.
  • Partnering with venues, planners, photographers, and other wedding vendors to create a package for mini and micro weddings is a simple way to serve these couples who are desiring a simpler and smaller way to say I do.
  • When faced with a situation, identify what you can change and try to change it! It’s as simple as that.
  • It’s important to take things one step at a time and not get overwhelmed.
  • Making space in your mind for good things to come and staying optimistic is the key to being in a solution-based mindset.

A little advice for partnering with wedding planners:

  • A clear mission and direction is important in deciding if you’re a good fit for working together.
  • When you can present a planner or other vendor with a solution to something they’re wanting or needing, and create something mutually beneficial this is a great way to start out a relationship.
