Have you ever wondered what it’s like to shoot a destination wedding? How to travel with gear, navigate cities, pack and store your film, and approach the day with a couple you may have never met before?
When I was learning, all I wanted to do was to see how other people did it. I remember when Jonathan Canlas photographed my sister’s wedding back in 2010 when I was just getting started in my business. I actually had a hard time focusing on the wedding (and I was the MAID of HONOR!!!) because I was watching him like a hawk! How did he load film on the go, what were his systems, how did he make all the magical light happen, how did he style things to compose a story?
I truly believe that apprenticeships are the MOST important ways to learn. When we get to see all the hands on of an ACTUAL wedding–from lighting, to building connections, to dealing with all different kinds of situations, you just can’t beat the real thing.
That’s why I am offering FOUR very very special ONE to ONE opportunities to shadow a destination wedding with me and have one whole day of BUSINESS strategies and coaching with me.
This is NOT a second shooting opportunity. I will already have my regular assistants and second shooter present so that they can assist me and focus on doing their job. This is a true internship where you get to shadow and shoot with me during the entire day.
